InfraNet Solutions, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, talented technical office assistant ready to contribute to the growth of our customer-focused organization. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The purpose of this position is to assist with the daily operations of the office. Candidates should have a good customer service mentality, good phone presence, positive attitude, and initiative. This position may be hourly or salaried and requires a commitment of 30-40 hours per week. Responsibilities for this position include, but may not be limited to: oversee the day-to-day operations of the office; answer and direct all incoming calls, check voicemail, and take messages; manage the entry of employee job time tickets and preparation of invoices; update and keep current general office documents; proofread office documents, including customer proposals, for grammar, spelling and formatting; process RMAs with vendors as required; assist the CFO with Accounts Receivables and collections as necessary; assist the CFO with requests for product bids from vendors; maintain files; light research as necessary; prepare agendas and minutes for company meetings; assist with general company marketing; and may assist with updating of company website.

You may have the opportunity to help direct advertising initiatives along with the Director of Business Development. Only high-energy, experienced salespersons with a high degree of enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn should apply. Travel to customer sites for repairs, maintenance and installations. (Requires a car, active car insurance and a valid driver's license.) Help desk support at Intranet's office and customer sites. Some weekends and night emergency service will occasionally be necessary. Typically during the first three months we will have you working with our existing staff and learning about our customers and internal practices, as well as helping with internal sales research and purchasing of hardware and software products. After this training period, you will be expected to visit customer sites on your own for technical repairs, upgrades and installations.

Provide phone support for customers from InfraNet's main office. Provide first level of support on a range of computer-related issues. Attempt to resolve all issues quickly and to the customer's satisfaction, and reduce instances of having to send technicians to customer's site. Follow up on open-ended issues and check on customer satisfaction following completion of any on-site service calls. Assist with internal procedures, researching of new products and new sales related research. Internal projects and project management. Shipping/Receiving. Interact with vendors. Track incoming orders, return damaged/defective shipments, negotiate with vendors on pricing and credit issues. Scheduling of personnel, maintaining stock inventory, recording of billable time, generation of sales invoices.

Applicant's background must include evidence of strong customer service skills, and a background in tech support, whether via phone or on-site.
